A new weapon has been introduced to diagnose brain injury, strokes, and brain
tumours. Having the patient wear the helmet-like Intracranial Ultrasound
Measuring System as shown in the picture, doctors can measure the density
changes in the brain instead of using the current approach of inserting a probe
to the brain, which helps to diagnose brain disease and minimize the chances of
infection caused by inserting a probe into the head.

This device is based on military Sonar and Radar technologies to eliminate
disturbances like noise or vibration and increase the accuracy of diagnosis. It
is approved by FDA and is under examination by Ministry of Health. The product
has not come into the market yet.
